How KUDO Rent Started – Bike Rental in Tenerife with a Personal Touch

We’re Sergey and Paco, two friends who turned a shared dream into reality — moving to Tenerife and building a business around what we love: bikes and adventure.

Even back in Hungary, we knew our relocation wasn’t just about changing countries — it was about starting something meaningful. That dream became KUDO Alquiler, a bike rental company designed to help visitors explore Tenerife’s breathtaking landscapes with ease, comfort, and style.

The Beginning of KUDO Rent

On October 2, 2023, we opened our first 50 m² office in Puerto de Santiago, offering a small but high-quality fleet of electric mountain and city bikes — perfect for the area’s hilly terrain and coastal roads.

We quickly discovered that Tenerife is a top destination for road cyclists from all over Europe and beyond. Listening to our customers and observing the growing demand, we soon added carbon road bikes, gravel bikes, MTB, and budget options to our rental lineup.

Growing With the Island

By early 2024, our small shop had outgrown its space. We moved into a larger office, expanded our services, and — most importantly — launched island-wide delivery. From the mountains of Teide to the beaches of El Médano, riders could now get their rental bikes delivered anywhere in Tenerife.

We’ve always built KUDO Rent around one principle: top-quality service and a personal touch. Every bike is carefully maintained. Every customer is treated like a guest, not just a client.
