The South Coast MTB tour is an intermediate-level ride, and although it doesn’t feature challenging climbs, you will encounter enjoyable and technical single tracks through three unique natural areas in the south: the Natural Reserve of Malpais de Rasca with its picturesque lighthouse, Montaña Amarilla, and Montaña Roja.

We kick off from El Palm Mar, immediately delving into rocky single tracks along the coastline, adorned with typical cactus vegetation and, once again, occasional banana plantations. We make our way to the Fisherman Village of La Galleta via a short tarmac segment. Continuing on, we enter the Montaña Amarilla Natural Area, known for its distinctive geological characteristics, small mountains, and volcanic rock that meets the sea. Expect to savor delightful single tracks with small canyons as we journey to Los Abrigos, traversing the sandy and sunny trails close to the southern airport. Our preferred resting spot is a tranquil Chiringuito by the coast, affording a spectacular view of Montaña Roja.

Following our break, we retrace our route along the same southern coast, exploring the same natural areas while venturing onto new paths within its extensive trail network.
