The Teno Alto MTB or Gravel tour unfolds on the Teno massif in the western part of Tenerife. This mixed-terrain ride seamlessly transitions between dirt paths and regular roads. We kick off from Santiago del Teide, tackling challenging climbs that lead to beautiful trails into the deep forest of the natural area. Steep and technical descents guide us to the valley above Buenavista on the northwest side, where the trails weave through scenic rural areas until we reach the village of Palm-mar.

Beginning a hard climb on a picturesque panoramic road, we ascend to the old village of Teno Alto. Here, we embark on a spectacular loop, traversing ancient rural settlements perched on high cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Following a break at a traditional restaurant in Teno Alto, we initiate our return by riding the fantastic trail of Monte del Agua. This 13-kilometer stretch winds through a amazing prehistoric forest of Laurisilva trees, eventually bringing us back to Santiago del Teide, where our tour concludes.
