This is one of the most challenging rides in Tenerife, designed exclusively for expert and well-trained cyclists. The tour begins in Adeje, allowing for a warm-up along the sun-soaked west coast until we reach Los Gigantes. Here, we face the initial daunting climb, spanning 18 kilometers to Santiago del Teide, eventually reaching the Erjos Pass at an elevation of 1,100 meters.

Afterward, we embark on an exhilarating 20-kilometer descent through the northwestern region of El Tanque, ultimately reaching the northern coastal side at Icod de Los Vinos. Here, we make a left turn, following the seaside route through Garachico and Buenavista del Norte, where we take a well-deserved coffee break in the traditional Canarian old town.

Following our recovery break, we commence our extended ascent over the Teno Massif, leading us to the renowned Baracán viewpoint. A thrilling, steep descent brings us to face the first super steep climb to the viewpoint of Cruz de Hilda. From here, we can enjoy the spectacular Wall of Masca right in front of us, our ultimate goal. After descending a bit, we finally begin the famous and highly challenging climb of Masca. Spanning 6 kilometers with peaks of 20% average gradient, this segment will push us through tight corners amid breathtaking landscapes until we reach the Cherfe viewpoint.

Now, it’s time to catch our breath with a short downhill section before tackling another demanding climb over the volcanic terrain of Arguayo. Finally, we initiate our descent to Chio for a quick pit stop and then descend once more until we return to Adeje, where our ride concludes.
