Who we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced bike mechanic who feels at home on mid- to high-end road, gravel and e-bikes. You care about the details, stay calm when the workshop is busy, and enjoy explaining to a rider what you did to their bike and why. Most of our customers are cyclists on holiday from all over Europe — their best day on the island starts on your work stand.
What you'll do
- Assemble, set up and fine-tune our rental fleet and the bikes we sell
- Service and repair customers' bikes: drivetrains, hydraulic brakes, wheels and tubeless
- Check every bike before it goes out and when it comes back, and log it in our workshop system
- Set bikes up for each rider at pickup: saddle height, pedals, bike computer mounts
- Advise customers on parts, accessories and upgrades in the workshop and the shop
- Keep track of parts and stock, and keep the workshop clean and organised
What you bring
- Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic
- English at B1 level or higher — most of our customers are international
- Solid knowledge of Shimano and SRAM groupsets, including Di2 and AXS electronic shifting
- Hydraulic disc brakes (bleeding, pads, rotors) and tubeless setups
- Experience with suspension (Fox, RockShox) and e-bike systems (Shimano, Bosch)
- Comfortable with a computer: our workshop log, stock and email all run online
Nice to have
- More languages — German, French, Italian or Dutch help a lot at the counter
- You ride yourself, on the road or off it
- Driving licence (B), for bike deliveries around the island
Working hours
- Full-time position
- Split shift that follows our opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00–13:00 and 18:00–20:00
- Sundays off
- The long midday break is yours — family, school runs, training or the beach
Salary
- Salary according to the applicable collective agreement (Convenio Colectivo), in line with your experience
What we offer
- A stable job with a company that is growing — two offices today, more to come
- A small, international team where your ideas are heard
- Hands-on work with current high-end bikes from Trek, Orbea and more
- Staff discounts on bikes, parts, clothing and nutrition from our shop
- Real room to grow with us as we expand across the Canary Islands
