🗺️ Route Overview

This route is a true test of endurance and elevation. After a smooth coastal rollout, the climb begins in earnest—first through La Camella and Arona, then into the thin air above Vilaflor. As you ascend to over 2,000 meters, the surroundings shift from forest to lunar rock, and the road to Teide National Park opens up like a ribbon across the sky.

Once over the top, the descent into La Orotava is long and flowing—offering dramatic views across northern Tenerife. But it’s not all downhill from there. A punchy climb through Icod and El Tanque brings you back into the saddle, rounding off a day packed with major elevation and endless scenery.
